MC2 Energy Drink Racing Announces Pending Merger with a NASCAR Licensed Stock Car Team Set for September and Establishment of Primary, Rotating Sponsorships
Las Vegas/ September 01 /--MC2 (pronounced MC Squared) Energy Drink Racing (Entry no. 14 in the NNS) ; (Stock trading symbol 1Bi) President and CEO Ronald Serota announced today that his team is looking forward to completing its negotiations to merge its stock car team with another NNS or Sprint Cup team as early as September 30, 2008. At the time of the pending merger, MC2 Energy Drink Racing believes it will also complete the financing necessary to run a team made up of two or three entries. The Company also intends to run three entries in the Sprint Cup in 2010. Serota states that, “We are carefully looking at the possibility of one experienced driver as well as a driver coming up from the Diversity Program of NASCAR or its licensees.” The Company is hopeful that it will acquire sufficient owner points to be guaranteed to run at least one of its entries in the first five races of its full-time 2009 season rather than having to "go or go home" on qualifying speed.
