Groom-a-thon Raise Money for the MSPCA
SEPTEMBER 28, 2008 - The Gables, a pet friendly condominium community located in Abington, Mass. is holding a Groom-a-thon in collaboration with Zoomin Groomin to raise money for the MSPCA (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
The event will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at The Gables clubhouse on 200 Hampton Way in Abington, MA. All proceeds will be donated directly to the MSPCA. Zoomin Groomin groomers and mobile pet spas will be onsite to assist with the grooming of residents' dogs and cats.
The organization is donating their time and any voluntary contributions. Suggested donations for the grooming of each pet is $50 or $100. Jeff Loomis, the participating business owner for Zoomin Groomin, added, "The MSPCA's animal protection and veterinary medicine mission is worthy of everyone's time, effort and attention."
